The purpose of this document is to present the reader with general information about the contents of an RFP (also referred to herein as “solicitation”). It should be emphasized that the format presented herein is a general format and may not be sufficient for all procurement situations. Nevertheless, this format can very well serve as the backbone of any RFP you wish to prepare. The reader would be well advised to check with relevant agency, organizational or industry, practices / guidelines before completing the RFP.
